he University of New Hampshire (UNH) has a long heritage in New Hampshire. Though established initially in 1866 in Hanover, New Hampshire as the New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts, the college moved to Durham in 1893. Today the Durham campus encompasses 1,100 acres (300 acres core campus) and over 100 modern and historic buildings and structures.
