The University of New Hampshire (UNH) is a public university located in the seacoast region of New Hampshire. In celebration of UNH's 150th anniversary, this historical map exhibit has been created. This online exhibit features a series of historical maps of the main campus and the surrounding community created by the university, students, and other organizations. These maps highlight the rich heritage of UNH and trace the development of the university from its modest beginnings as Thompson Farm in 1893 to its present day status as a world-class institution of higher learning.
